CIEH Level 2 Awards in Food Safety

This course is designed for anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled.

Course Content:

  • Legislation
  • Food safety and hygiene hazards
  • Temperature control
  • Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding
  • Cooking, hot holding and reheating
  • Food handling
  • Principles of safe food storage
  • Cleaning
  • Food premises and equipment

Course Length:

  • One Day

Upon completion of the training, a multiple choice exam will be taken, and if passed the trainee will get a CIEH Level 2 Awards in Food Safety (Fundamental food hygiene training for all food handlers)
