Kennet & Thames Training is a farmer owned organisation, and an Accredited Provider with Lantra, covering Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and the Surrey borders. We have been organising quality training to the rural industries of agriculture, forestry and horticulture for over 30 years.

Our training courses are tailored to suit the individual’s needs, and we like to think our friendly and informal, yet efficient, approach is what brings our customer’s back to us year after year.

Bursary places

We are excited to announce that we continue to fund training for bursaries, and have started our 5th round of funding. The aim being to encourage new entrants into the agricultural/rural industry and increase their skills base.

These bursaries are offered to the employees of renewing members of the Training Group, ideally between the age of 16 – 35 as a priority. We also consider the more mature employee who has come into the rural industry as a complete career change "later in life". The funding available for the current bursaries is a total of £5000. Training needs to be done between November 2025 and October 2027.

We hope to offer another round of Bursary funding in October 2026.
