This course covers the use of a chainsaw in a tree to carry out a range of cutting techniques. This course will provide candidates with key information and practical guidance so that they are able to work safely and securely.
Course Content:
- Current legislation and risk assessments
- Working with knots and ropes
- Tree access and movement around the tree
- Work positioning techniques whilst operating a chainsaw
- Practice appropriate cutting techniques
